On the road to find out.
Jo(e)'s got a description of playing "Monster", an improvement on hide and seek, that sounds like much fun. Not the sort of game you can play with an infant, alas, but when she's older . . .
Genevieve is climbing stairs like a maniac, and piloting her walker,
and sticking her finger up her nose (and everyone else's), and waving hello and goodbye, and high-fiving papa (rather limply so far, but we're working on that), and pushing through little daisy-teeth.
The world is a fascinating place. Everything: small fragments of dirt and leaves and dog hair are as worthy of consideration as the nearby tambourine. Bubbles. Music. Patterns of light and color. Geese in the park. Other small people, cats and dogs. She points to everything, sometimes deliberately, other times seemingly at random, a roving index finger scanning the walls, the sky. Wanting to take everything in.
Many new baby pictures today! See sidebar.
