Location: St. Vincent & Grenadines

You were driving home in the dark on one glass-slippered heel, window sliced open and bathing in the snowliquor of the night air. We heard you singing, and couldn't bear to wake you.

Well there must have been some falafels...

Courtesy of Horbiche, who got it courtesy of BitchPhD, who got it courtesy of Jo(e): a new meme.

Come on, you silent audience! Get funky! Do the mime meme! Or holla at me. Or whispa. Leave some freakin' comments, facrynoutloud.

Favorite food to crunch: Carrots.
Favorite comfort food: White rice with cottage cheese and spinach, in a casserole dish with parmesan cheese on top, baked at 375 for 45 minutes.
Food that makes the best noise: Cherry pits, spat at the neck of someone slower than you.
Favorite picnic lunch: St. Andre triple cream brie, a seeded baguette, picholine olives, red seedless grapes, French potato salad, Korbel blanc de noir champagne.
Favorite food scene in movie: The oyster with the drop of blood in Tampopo, closely followed by the egg-yolk ping-pong match in Tampopo.
Favorite food lyrics: "Take a wrinkled raisin and do with it what you will." Ween.
Least favorite food lyrics: "My baby cooks her eggplant about 19 different ways/ Sometimes I just have it raw with mayonnaise." Michael Franks.
Best food smell memory: bacon on Sunday morning at the annual winter party one year.
Favorite summer snack: sliced tomatoes, sliced fresh mozzarella, and leaves of fresh basil drizzled with olive oil and balsamic vinegar.
Food that reminds me of the ocean: Oysters would be too obvious, so I'll say pomegranates. I have a vivid memory of eating a pomegranate at the beach when I was five or six, my fingers getting red and sticky and sugared with grains of sand.
Favorite winter snack: salted mixed nuts and Ibarra hot chocolate.
Most likely to eat for lunch: leftovers.
Least likely to eat for lunch: a double quarter-pounder with cheez.
Makes me gag: Muh. Mahhahhuh. Mayonnaise. BLORTCH.
Food tradition I hate: Anything involving marshmallow peeps. I don't know if there are any traditions, but those things are naaaaaas-tee.
Saturday night food: beer.
Favorite wild foods: fennel, spring onion, mustard and horseradish flowers, miner's lettuce, periwinkle honey.
Favorite food for sex play: strawberry shortcake can be quite nice.
Favorite medicinal food: um . . . pot brownies? No, scratch that. Mom's chicken soup.
Food that reflects my heritage: um . . . pot brownies? No, scratch that. Corned beef, potatoes and watery green cabbage.
Favorite raw food smell: tomatoes just picked from the plant.
Food most like me: raw carrots. Long and skinny and sweet and full of beta carotene.
